Gyedu Blay Ambolley has lashed out at the government and its operatives for saying citizens should fix themselves – He made the statement while speaking about the ongoing #FixTheCountry campaign – Ambolley believes people who solicit for votes need to do the needful when voted into power
The #FixTheCountry campaign has gained another high-profile supporter in the person of Ghanaian highlife music legend, Gyedu Blay Ambolley. He joins other public figures including Yvonne Nelson, John Dumelo, Efia Odo, and Nana Aba Anamoah.
Over the past week, Ghanaians have been protesting virtually against the government led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo over social and developmental issues in the country. Blay declared his support for the cause during a chat with Hammer Nti on Pure FM in Kumasi. He questioned why politicians clamour for votes with the claim to help develop the country only to renege on their promise once voted into power.
